Adventure Quest Worlds Potion / Alchemy Guide

Potions mean the next level of power in AQW. Not only for ultras but for everyday use. It's always much more efficient to craft your own potions, even if you get the reagents from the alchemy shop.

  • Requires less gold, while it rewards more potions.
  • Randomly you might get unexpected results... It happens...
  • Overall still better / more affordable than purchasing potions directly.

How to craft potions?

  1. First /join alchemyacademy
  2. You need 2 different type of reagents to start crafting.  
  3. By using dragon runestones you dont have to play the minigame manually.
  4. Make sure to always "ask for help" while crafting. Thats how you tell the game what kind of pot you wish to craft.
  5. I will list the reagent combinations below with the detailed steps. Good luck!

 

Bonus info:

Talk to Sally for free Dragon Runestones (Friendship). 

Use Swindle shop at /tercessuinotlim for cheap: chaoroot, necrot, doomatter.

Scroll of Bane (Deals damage and applies an effect based on your target's tag) [situational]

Hole-y Cheese (40% Strength and Endurance for 30 seconds) [spam it on classes]

Fate Tonic (25% luck for 15 min) alchemy / help please / use dragonstone / 41 + 6500 rep / tonic / luck / arashite ore + chaoroot 

 

Potent Destruction Elixir (50% crit for 15 min) alchemy / help please / use dragonstone / 41 + 6500 rep / elixir / critical power / moglin Tears + necrot

 

Felicitous Philtre (50% luck for 45 sec, cheap alternative to honor potion): purchase from /alchemyacademy / Alina / Buy potions / Gebo merge 

 

Magical classes:

Potent Malevolence Elixir (20% spell power for 15 min) alchemy / help please / use dragonstone / 41 + 6500 rep / elixir / spell power / doomatter + necrot

 

Sage Tonic (20% int for 15 min) alchemy / help please / use dragonstone / 41 + 6500 rep / tonic / intelligence / Arashtite Ore + Doomatter

 

(Alternative to Malevolence / Battle: chaoroot + doomatter)

 

Can be used for both: 

Potent Honor Potion (75% damage for 35 sec) alchemy / help please / use dragonstone / 41 + 6500 rep / potion / damage / chaoroot + fish oil
